General Neighborhood Information


AMMENITIES
  • All Overlook amenities are for residents and their guests only.
  • Residents must accompany their guests while using the pool, the pavilion or the dock. 
  • The Overlook Pool opens each year on April 1st and closes on October 31st.  MAXIMUM 4 guests per household.


PARKING
  • Residents and invited guests must park in the community parking spaces, garages, or driveways.
  • Parking is not allowed on curbs, road sides or alleys.  This includes motorized and non-motorized vehicles (Golf Carts, bikes, atvs etc.)
  • Please advise contractors/delivery people of the parking requirements.


PETS
  • Pets should use the common areas to do their business, not on neighbors yards.
  • Kindly pick up your pets waste and please do not throw pet waste in the community and/or pool trash bins. Dispose of your pets waste in your home trash receptacle.
  • Animals should be leashed when walking and when not in a fenced enclosure.


WALKING TRAIL
  • Please do not ride motorized or non motorized vehicles on the walking trail. This includes bikes, scooters, golf carts etc.

    Trash 

    • Picked up every Tuesday and Recycle every other Tuesday.  
    • The trash disposal fee is included in your water bill. 
    • Bins should remain out of site from roads and walkways as much as possible. 
    • Bins should be placed out for pickup no earlier than Monday evening at 5pm and back out of sight by Tuesday evening.

  • Mailroom Box

    Mailroom boxes must be obtained through the U.S. Postal Service.

    1. ​Go to the local post office located at 11 Robert Smalls Parkway (shopping center at intersection with Boundary Street)
    2. Bring an ID along with a copy of lease/mortgage
    3. Bring $40 to cover the mailbox fee and keys

    NOTE: Mailboxes are set up each Thursday, so you should complete this from Monday to Wednesday, otherwise you will have to wait until the following week. You will receive 2 keys at the time of payment and another key will be put in your mailbox once set-up is complete for a total of 3 keys per mailbox

  • Resident Center Portal

    The Resident Center Portal is used by Bundy Management and is a great tool.  It allows you to stay up to date with Bundy Management announcements, has  official documents like the Coventants and ARC from.  You also can pay your dues/fees online!

As the community is in the final phase of building, the HOA is governed by the Declarant (developer).  For the latest guidance and rules, please refer to the Overlook covenants which can be found and downloaded from the Resident Center Portal. (download the app to your phone in the footer below)

The Tides Newsletter

The Tides is the Overlook at Battery Creek's Newsletter which is published on or about the 15th day of each quarter.  The goal is to inform the community  of events, developments and projects at The Overlook.
